Science Hands-On Activities

(Click on Pictures for Larger Versions)

This room is full of activities enjoyed by children of all ages. Motion, static electricity, electric current production, sound, light, and optical illusions are all represented. There is a kaleidoscope as well as an oscilloscope and a skeleton and separate replicas to build a body. A great attraction is a magnifying glass with which one can view the blood vessels on one's body or other invisible things on a television screen. This is just a small sampling of the fun and hands-on learning to be found in this room!
